This machine is appropriate in situations where:
- Demanding thickness variation/parallel parameters are required
- The machining process must conform to a SPC program
- Thickness to diameter ratios combines with high-stress materials make required flatness parameters difficult to maintain.
An Automatric Thickness Control enhances repeatability of the thickness variation. Once a preset thickness value is entered into the digital display, the machine stops automatically when it reaches the preset level. A Direct Read Pressure System automatically compensates for any variation in operating pressures due to plate material loss or air pressure fluctuations.
